Farah Yamout: Carving Her Path in Jewelry and Education

At Majal Design School, each instructor brings their own spark and for Farah Yamout, that spark was first lit through wax carving. A graduate of ESMOD, Farah’s journey into the world of jewelry design began with sculpting delicate forms out of wax, a technique that soon became her signature. Whether crafting directly from wax or experimenting with other methods, it was this hands-on process that shaped her early collections, laying the foundation for her brand and earning her spots in exhibitions both locally and beyond.

With years of experience under her belt, Farah decided to take the next step and give back through teaching. That’s when she applied to Majal Design School to lead the wax carving course, a decision that would become one of the highlights of her career.

“Teaching isn’t just about skills, it’s about generosity,” she said. “Every technique she’s mastered, every insight she’s gained, she’s eager to pass on.”

Teaching at Majal has been more than just a job for Farah; it’s a source of deep satisfaction. She’s found herself aligned with a team that’s passionate about transmitting knowledge with purpose, an approach she wholeheartedly shares.

Through Majal, Farah continues to inspire a new generation of jewelry designers, proving that true craftsmanship is as much about sharing as it is about creating.
