Majal Student Support Box

At Majal Design School, we believe that talent should never be limited by financial hardship. Accordingly, we created the Student Support Box to ensure that aspiring students can still access high-quality creative education, regardless of their economic circumstances. Through this initiative, Majal works to make Lebanon’s design landscape more inclusive, accessible and representative of the communities it serves.

The Student Support Box is a community-driven initiative that helps cover tuition fees for students who are unable to personally fund their education. Support is available for a single course or an entire certificate program.

Since its founding, Majal has trained more than 1,000 students across jewelry design, textile design and business development. Many graduates have gone on to launch their own brands, secure employment opportunities and contribute actively to the creative sector in Lebanon and beyond. The Student Support Box strengthens this impact by ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent promising individuals from accessing the tools, mentorship and professional training they need to grow.

The initiative is sustained through Majal activities including exhibitions, workshops and events, as well as through grants and individual contributions from supporters who believe in the transformative power of education and design. Every contribution directly supports students with demonstrated financial need and strong creative potential.

Applications are open to all adult residents of Lebanon, regardless of age, gender or nationality. Eligibility is based on financial need, commitment, talent and motivation. Through the Student Support Box, Majal continues to invest in people, creativity and the future of Lebanon’s cultural and creative industries.
