Community empowerment workshops
We welcome opportunities to partner with local and international NGOs in order to provide empowering workshops in design and creation to the less fortunate.
For example, we teamed up with ESCWA in 2021 to provide embroidery workshops to 90 women in Akkar. Two of the trainees started their own embroidery brand.
Training and workshops for your personnel
At MAJAL, we offer specialized workshops to your staff, training them in design thinking, creative solutions, or technical design skills.
We also offer team building activities where art and design become a tool to bring your staff together.
For example, we have helped Dar Al Aytam trainers rebrand the products they make.
Extracurricular activities at schools
The aim of these activities is to promote the love of handmade at a young age. As part of this activity, we team up with schools to offer on-location extracurricular activities to their students.
For example, we have partnered with Wellspring Community Center since Fall 2023, teaching young girls a variety of textile arts.
